Esports tournament organiser and media network BLAST has appointed Charlotte Kenny as Managing Director of BLAST Premier. After seven years working in football with Arsenal FC and Club Affairs, Kenny arrives with a wealth of experience and a proven track record of growing revenue and fan engagement.
In the new role Kenny will focus on the growth and delivery of BLAST Premier as the company looks to enhance its industry-leading production, tournament operations and commercial portfolio.
City Football Group and BrandEd have unveiled the ‘City Football Leadership Institute’, a new education institute offering comprehensive business management, sport management and leadership programmes based around the CFG’s approach.
The City Football Leadership Institute joins BrandEd’s portfolio of education ventures including Sotheby’s Institute of Art and The School of The New York Times.

Co-op Live, the UK’s first all-electric sports and entertainment arena currently under construction in Manchester, has announced the appointment of sustainability consultants Hope Solutions to deliver the arena’s net-zero carbon ambitions.
Under terms of the agreement, Hope Solutions will work closely with Co-op Live to maximise opportunities to make it as sustainable as possible from construction to opening and beyond.
Co-op Live is set to become the biggest indoor arena in the UK with a capacity for 23,500 people when it opens in 2023, and is part financed by Premier League champions Manchester City.
