Coventry Building Society has been announced as a sponsor of Coventry City FC.

Under terms of the new agreement, which will initially run until the end of the 2022/23 season, the mortgage and savings provider’s logo will appear on the front of the Championship team’s training shirts.

According to a statement, ‘As part of the sponsorship, Coventry City and Coventry Building Society will be revealing a number of exciting fan engagement initiatives in the coming days and weeks.’

Tynan Scope, Head of Commercial at Coventry City Football Club, said, “We’re thrilled to be announcing another sponsorship with Coventry Building Society, as we continue to work even closer with this locally and nationally recognised and respected organisation.

“The club has had a long-standing relationship with Coventry Building Society over a number of years and this new sponsorship is testament to the tremendous work of the CCFC Commercial Team and the increasing relationship we have built with Coventry Building Society.

“We look forward to announcing further initiatives with them in the coming weeks and to seeing the Coventry Building Society logo on our training wear for the rest of this campaign.”


Bowls England has announced a strategic, multi-year partnership with the Aviva.

The insurance, wealth and retirement company will become the principal partner to the governing body for lawn bowls in England.

The partnership also sees Aviva become the principal partner of the England national teams, title partner in the Bowls England National and Regional Finals, as well as official partners to Bowls England’s grassroots and community initiatives, Bowls Bash and Bowls Big Weekend.

Aviva branding will also feature on the England Team’s kits as they compete at the World Championships on the Gold Coast, Australia, following a record medal haul at Birmingham 2022.

West Ham United has announced sports technology provider Rezzil as an official supplier of West Ham United Women.

In what is described as a ‘landmark partnership for women’s football’, Rezzil will supply their cognitive development services to West Ham United Women’s players, offering performance enhancement, post-match analysis, rehabilitation, and virtual training solutions.

West Ham United Chief Commercial Officer Nathan Thompson said, “We are delighted to announce this partnership between West Ham United Women and Rezzil.

“Rezzil is a market-leading virtual reality and cognitive development tool for elite football and is currently used by some of the best football clubs in the world, so we’re proud to be joining those ranks.

“Rezzil has revolutionised the way virtual reality and artificial intelligence is used in sports training. Partnering with them offers an exciting opportunity to work towards becoming one of the elite clubs in English football and raising our level of performance.”


National Student Esports (NSE) has announced a renewed partnership with game developer and publisher Nintendo UK.

As part of the deal, the two organsations will collaborate on the launch of Splatoon 3 – University Championship, a series of virtual and physical tournaments taking place throughout the UK.

The Splatoon 3 – University Championship will conclude with a live Grand Final at the Insomnia Gaming Festival which takes places from 7th to 10th April at the NEC Birmingham.

NSE Managing Director, Alex Coulson, said, “Working with new partners is always fun but working with the same partner again and again is testament to a fruitful partnership, so it’s brilliant to team up with Nintendo UK for the fourth time.

George Creed has been appointed as Partnerships Manager at the National Football League (NFL).

Creed formerly served as a Senior Account Director at Bright Partnerships.

On announcing his new role, Creed said, “I’m delighted to be joining the NFL at such an exciting time for the sport as it continues to grow internationally. Having played a small part in the delivery of the London Games back in 2017-18, it’s fantastic to now be part of the organisation and I look forward to working closely with the NFL’s brilliant roster of partners.”
