The American owners of National League football club Dagenham & Redbridge have put their shares up for sale.
The owners, including former Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard, purchased the club in 2018.
The Dagenham & Redbridge owners are going against the trend of football ownership as numerous American investors, including some very famous names, have invested in the beautiful game recently.
Guild Esports, the professional esports organisation co-owned by David Beckham, has announced a one-year partnership with esports trading platform ENDX.
As per the deal, Guild’s Counter-Strike players will be added to the ENDX pool of players that are available to trade. The British esports team will earn a percentage of the revenue from the sales of players.
Other esports teams including Endpoint, Team Singularity, Cloud9, Berlin International Gaming (BIG) and 00Nation have partnered with ENDX recently.
Jasmine Skee, Chief Executive Officer at Guild Esports, said, “Our partnership with eNDX establishes Guild’s presence within the esports player trading landscape, as we become the first esports organisation to introduce both their male and female rosters onto this platform.
“As well as allowing users to trade in the future performance of their favourite players, eNDX provides a unique opportunity for driving fan engagement. Marek Borowik has been announced as the new Director of Fan Engagement at SailGP.
Borowik joins SailGP following six years with Formula 1. He also has experience with TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport), Sainsbury’s Mobile and Virgin Media.
Formula E has announced Tiziana Di Gioia as its new Chief Revenue Officer.
With Season 10 of the Formula E starting on Saturday 13th January, Di Gioia joins to work on the commercial and business strategy of the all-electric motor racing series.
Di Gioia has previously worked with Juventus FC, Scuderia Ferrari F1 and Under Armour.
