Taking place from 10th to 15th September, the event will take place at Manchester’s AO Arena as well as in Bologna in Italy, Valencia in Spain and Zhuhai in China.

GB were knocked out in the quarterfinals by Serbia.

The European Super League has lost the case to register its name after the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) ruled that the trademark rights belong to the Danish Super Liga.

A statement from Denmark’s top-flight football league following the decision said, ‘We are very happy that the EU’s trademark authority has agreed that the trademark ‘The Super League’ in the EU will violate the value that the Danish clubs have invested in 3F Superliga.’

The proposed breakaway league does have the right to appeal the EUIPO’s ruling, which stated that the league names were ‘conceptionally identical.’

Reading owner Dai Yongge has agreed to sell the EFL League One’s club’s Bearwood Park training ground to local rivals Wycombe Wanderers.

The deal has been confirmed less than five years after the state-of-the-art facility was opened.

The 2019 move to the £50m site, which happened two years into Yongge’s tenure as owner, has been followed by relegation from the Championship to League One, and docked points for missed payments.

Financially stricken Reading now face the prospect of renting its own training ground.
