Dazn Group has officially launched DAZN Combat and DAZN Women’s Football, two new global FAST channels.
DAZN Combat will broadcast boxing and MMA exclusively, which will include live events, highlights, legendary archive fights and documentaries. DAZN’s roster of boxing and combat properties including Matchroom Boxing, Golden Boy and MF & DAZN: X Series and combat sports including the PFL Archive, Ansgar Fighting League, Naciones MMA, Muay Thai for Life, Primetime Wrestling, KOK, MMA Bushido and Dream Boxing.
DAZN Women’s Football will offer elite competitions including the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL), Finetwork Liga F as well as archives, behind-the-scenes access and highlights.
LG will be carrying the channels in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the Nordics, Netherlands, France and Australia. Samsung TV Plus will also be distributing the DAZN Women’s Football Channel in Australia and New Zealand, where the channel launched in April. VIDAA will carry both channels in Australia, Brazil and Mexico.
Other partners will be brought on board following the launch, increasing the reach in more territories.
UK-based sports marketing agency Right Formula has launched Right Formula Caribbean, a brand and experiential focused team based in Barbados.
The strategic partnership with Barbados-based brand consultancy Dakota Ross will see major shareholders Kodi Lewis and Alex Weetch heading up Right Formula Caribbean.
Utilising ‘combined expertise in strategy, sports activation and sustainability,’ the agency describes the move as an ‘opportunity to bring the biggest names in sports and business to signature Right Formula promoted events in the region.’
The new strategic partnership further expands Right Formula’s geographical reach following the recent launch of the agency’s first office in New York, USA.

Apparel designer, distributor, and licensor Perry Ellis Europe has appointed Mercieca as its integrated agency to launch the new SS23 Nike Swim collection to EMEA and UK markets.
London-based creative agency Mercieca will work on a campaign, that targets Gen-Z, with a fully integrated programme including aspects across creative, design, production, retail, digital, influencer engagement, PR & retained press office.

The Jockey Club has announced the appointment of a new Chief Commercial and International Officer and a first Group Operations Director.
Anna Chanduvi succeeds Charlie Boss as Chief Commercial and International Officer and will take up her position, which is based in London, on July 17th.
Hannah Simpkins has been appointed to the new role of Group Operations Director and will also start her new role, which is based in the North West, on July 17th.
She previously worked for Liverpool FC, starting out as an accountant 10 years ago before rising through the ranks to become Vice President of Club Operations, which involves driving both the strategy team and the Operations department.
England U19 and Western Storm cricketer Sophia Smale has signed with GRiT Sports Management.
GRiT Sports Management is a multi-sports agency that represents elite professional sports men and women in the UK and overseas.
18-year-old left arm spinner Smale, starred for the title-winning Oval Invincibles in the Hundred and represented England taking 10 wickets to reach the first ever ICC U19 World Cup final in January.
