The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has unveiled its ‘One England’ brand refresh.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), in partnership with creative agency MATTA, has rebranded England Cricket to unite England Men, England Women and the England Disability teams under a shared identity.

Developed after extensive audience research, the new platform focuses on the shared pride and passion that unites the national teams, rather than their differences.

The changes will be rolled out across digital channels and the matchday experience.

LIV Golf has been certified to ISO 20121 for Sustainable Event Management by the British Standards Institution, becoming the first golf league to receive the standard across its global operations

The certification recognises LIV Golf’s implementation of a sustainable management system that addresses environmental, social and economic impact. Its UK tournament at JCB Golf and Country Club, taking place 25 to 27 July, will be powered entirely by renewable energy, with additional sustainability measures in transport, catering, infrastructure and waste management.

LIV Golf joins a small group of global sports organisations with ISO 20121 certification, including Formula 1, Liverpool FC and the Philadelphia Eagles. The announcement comes just days after 19 LIV players competed in The Open Championship, ahead of the league’s final international event of the 2025 season in the UK.

Jersey Bulls have appointed former Jersey Chamber of Commerce president Adam Budworth as their new chairman

Currently the Managing Partner at management consultancy Grant Thornton, Budworth brings a wealth of experience, including time with Jersey Rugby Club. Budworth steps into the role following Russell Le Feuvre’s transition to club president earlier this year.

Joining Budworth on the board are three fellow appointees, Gordon Dickson as finance director, Carl Walker handling communications and marketing, and Paul Mundy as commercial director. The revamped leadership team arrives just as the Bulls gear up for their inaugural season in the Isthmian League South East, marking their debut in the eighth tier of English football.

We are delighted to welcome Adam, Carl, Gordon and Paul to the board of Jersey Bulls,” said Le Feuvre. “Their expertise will be invaluable as we enter the next phase of our journey as a club that represents the island with pride, ambition and professionalism.”

BBC 5 Live has announced a new six-part podcast series, Sport’s Strangest Crimes: Hansie Cronje – Fall from Grace, which will launch on BBC Sounds.

Hosted by former England cricketer Mark Butcher, the series delves into one of cricket’s biggest scandals, retracing the rise and fall of the former South African captain. The podcast will explore the secret deals, damning confessions, and untimely death that defined the affair, featuring testimony from those closest to the case.

Mark Butcher, Host, Sport’s Strangest Crimes, said, “I played in that Centurion Test, and none of us knew what was really going on. Hansie’s story is both tragic and infuriating, and there’s still a lot we don’t understand. This series is about going back and asking the difficult questions. Who was the real Hansie Cronje? And how deep did this all go?”

Ahead of their pre-season match against AC Milan, Liverpool FC opened its first official store in Hong Kong, with club legend Sir Kenny Dalglish attending the launch.

Located at Kai Tak Sports Park, the store is the Reds’ twentieth standalone retail outlet, more than any other football club or US sports franchise.

The opening strengthens Liverpool’s growing presence in Asia, where nearly one third of international retail sales now come from. “Asia continues to be one of our most important markets,” said Lee Dwerryhouse, LFC’s senior vice president of merchandising. “We are proud to deliver a locally accessible, premium and authentic experience.”

The launch also marks a five year extension with All Star Partner and includes a special shirt design inspired by Hong Kong’s culture, available for a limited time during the club’s Asia tour.
