The English Football League (EFL) Trophy has agreed a new title sponsorship Bristol Street Motors.
As well as becoming the title sponsor of the domestic cup competition until the end of 2025/26 season, the three-year deal will see Bristol Street Motors will also become the official car dealer of the EFL.
The UK car dealership replaces pizza company Papa Johns that has held naming rights since 2021.
According to a EFL statement, ‘the overall prize pot of almost £3m, which provides significant revenue for each League One and League Two Club, will increase over the next two years with the investment from Bristol Street Motors.’
Trevor Birch, Chief Executive of EFL, said, “We are delighted to welcome Bristol Street Motors as title sponsor of the EFL Trophy in a partnership that sees further investment into League One and Two clubs over the duration of the deal.”
Robert Forrester, Chief Executive Officer at Bristol Street Motors, added, “Across the communities, football is something that brings people together, so the opportunity to join forces with the EFL and Clubs that are such an important part of life for our customers was something that was simply too good to turn down.

Scottish Premiership football club Rangers FC has announced renewal of its partnership with Scotch whisky company Douglas Laing and Co.
The club and Douglas Laing have been working together since the 2021/22 campaign and the extension will see the partnership run until the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

EFL Championship football club Rotherham United has extended its long-standing partnership with Sorola Energy.
The business energy broker will continue its sponsorship of the South West corner of the AESSEAL New York Stadium for a further two years.
Stephen Ramsden, Commercial Director of Complete Utility Solutions, said, “We’ve had a great relationship with all of the commercial team at Rotherham United since we came on board around eight years ago.

Gallagher Premiership rugby union club Saracens has announced the renewal if its partnership with sleep technology brand Simba Sleep.
Simba, that is a long-standing partner of the club will continue as its official performance sleep partner, helping players ensure they are ready for the demands of professional rugby.
Each player will receive a mattress to ‘give them optimal rest and high-quality sleep for the 2023/24 season.’

Oldham Athletic Girls & Women has added RoyleMac10 and Davies Sports as partners.
RoyleMac10 will become the official back of shirt and player training kit sponsor as well as Davies Sports sponsoring the coaches apparel.
