England Golf, the governing body for male and female amateur golf in England, has announced FootJoy as its new official apparel, footwear and accessory partner in an exclusive three-year agreement.

Under the arrangement, all England Golf national squad members, across all age categories and genders, will be provided with the full range of FootJoy apparel and golf shoes at international events and championships.

FootJoy will also be on prominent display at many of England Golf’s Championships throughout the year, including the Brabazon, English Amateur, English Girls Championship and Carris Trophy.

England Golf CEO, Jeremy Tomlinson, said, “Aligning with a market leader such as FJ is representative of England Golf’s commitment to excellence.

“In addition to representing best-in-class across numerous categories, FJ’s varied product lines overlaps with our diverse membership helping to further promote inclusivity in the sport.”


IMG Tennis and European private members club TATΟΪ Club has announced Tennis Europe as an education partner for this year’s ‘IMG Future Stars Invitational Tournament’.

The weeklong event is for the ‘next generation of tennis talent, coaches, and their families to learn, play against the best from across the globe’.

Taking place in April 2023, the annual event will be hosted at TATΟΪ Club in Athens, Greece, which will provide luxury accommodations and state-of-the-art tennis facilities.

IMG Future Stars Invitational Tournament consists of a 48-player field competition for the best 24 boys and 24 girls under the age of 12, as well as programming following each days’ matches.

Workshops for students, coaches, and parents include panels and discussions hosted by executives from WTA, ATP, Nike, IMG and more aim ‘to educate families about being a professional tennis player, help athletes understand what they need to fuel and heal their bodies, and provide media training to prepare athletes for press interviews’.


British rugby brand Canterbury has announced a new collaboration with Edinburgh-based tracking specialists PlayerData.

The brand partnership will see PlayerData provide its GPS technology to grassroots players via Canterbury’s specially designed vest which provides performance tracking and feedback.  

Vice President of Canterbury, Jack Richardson, commented, “When you start making this level of tech accessible, it can only progress the sport. Our partnership with PlayerData offers grassroots teams the very best in performance innovation, so anyone can access data to play at the top of their game.  

“We’ll be using it as a chance to spend more time with clubs and players, learning from them to help us develop a rugby-first product that players want. We’re already making plans for this year and beyond, looking at how we take Canterbury and PlayerData on the road to drive greater engagement, energy and participation within rugby as a whole.” 


The Premier League has appointed Sport Industry Group NextGen 2022 Leader Nick Rawlinson as its new Strategy Manager.

Rawlinson, who begins his new role in January 2023, joins from London-based global management consultancy Portas Consulting, where he worked as a Senior Consultant.
