Premiership Women’s Rugby has announced a new partnership with eToro, making the investment platform it the first brand to sponsor both the men’s and women’s top-flight leagues.
The deal expands on eToro’s existing relationship with the men’s Premiership and is part of the brand’s ‘Loud Investing’ campaign, which aims to make investing more inclusive and accessible and to close the gender investment gap.
The company has also renewed its deals with the men’s and women’s teams at Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham United.
Genevieve Shore, Executive Chair of Premiership Women’s Rugby, said, “We are delighted to announce this partnership with eToro. Like us, eToro is committed to challenging the status quo and working towards a more equitable future for women and girls. Together, we’re going to make sure we move the game – and the conversation – forward.”
“At eToro, we believe investing should be for everyone – not just a select few. Through our Loud Investing campaign, we’re working to challenge long-standing myths, build financial confidence, and shine a light on the role of representation – both in sport and in finance,” said Stephanie Wilks-Wiffen, Director of Marketing at eToro.
“Sport brings people together and can change the conversation. By supporting both the men’s and women’s game – and making investing more visible and relatable – we hope to play a small but meaningful role in building a more inclusive future in both sport and finance.”
Super League Basketball (SLB) has appointed Sanjay Bhandari MBE as its new Interim Independent Chair.

Basketball is the second most popular team sport for participation amongst children and young people in the UK. Super League clubs are also key hubs for driving local community impact. A successful and thriving elite game nurturing great talent from home and abroad is essential to inspire future generations. I know that the game faces significant challenges at the moment and I hope that, ultimately, I can help to bring people together to focus on the long term interests of the game.”
Established in 2024, SLB replaces the defunct British Basketball League (BBL) competition.
Extreme H has joined Hydrogen UK, the UK’s leading industry association for the sector.
The new membership will see the hydrogen-powered off-road racing series, which is set to launch later this year, use its platform as a testbed for clean hydrogen innovation and collaborate with other members to advance the role of hydrogen in decarbonising mobility.
Clare Jackson, CEO of Hydrogen UK, said, “We are very pleased to welcome Extreme H to Hydrogen UK. Motorsport has always been a catalyst for innovation, and Extreme H is proving that hydrogen can deliver thrilling performance while driving forward the technologies and public awareness needed for the UK to reach net zero. This is a brilliant example of how hydrogen can decarbonise sectors beyond traditional industry, and how we can inspire and educate new audiences as the racing showcases what a clean hydrogen future can look like.”
