Premier League club Everton FC has announced Ticketmaster as its official ticketing innovation partner for the 23/24 season onwards.

With club’s stadium capacity increasing from 39,572 at Goodison Park to 52,888 in its new at Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, Everton will join fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur on Ticketmaster’s partnership roster.

As part of the partnership, Everton fans will directly benefit from Ticketmaster’s advanced technology, such as 3D Virtual Venue, to improve user experience.

Richard Kenyon, Chief Commercial Officer at Everton, said, “We are excited about this new partnership with Ticketmaster and the benefits it will provide to our supporters. As we get closer to the move to our new stadium, it was important that we work with a partner with experience of stadium moves and a commitment to future innovation for the club and our fans.

“Ticketmaster are also well-positioned to support our objectives for revenue growth from non-matchday activities at our new home, which will be very important to us in the years ahead.”

Chris Gratton, Managing Director, Ticketmaster Sport UK, added, “Everton’s exciting journey to their new stadium is a brilliant opportunity for Ticketmaster to partner with the club and help them successfully transition as we have done with many clubs in the past. We’re delighted to be working with Richard and the team at Everton and look forward to a bright future together.”

Last month the club reached an exclusivity agreement with MSP Sports Capital for a ‘significant investment’ after their new stadium costs soared from £500m to roughly £760m.

Newly promoted EFL League One club Carlisle United has announced Bimson Haulage as an official sponsor for the 2023/24 campaign.

Bimson Haulage, a transportation service, first stepped on board with the club for the 2021/22 season, with its branding placed above the EFL names and numbers on the back of the shirt. The sponsorship then switched to a front-of-shirt deal for last season’s promotion-winning push.

Debbie Huddart, Commercial Manager of Carlisle United, said, “We’re heading into our third season of working closely with Bimson and, I have to say, they’re absolutely fantastic to deal with.

“It was particularly good to have them on board as we took on the challenge of securing the step up to League One last term, and I know they were extremely proud to be part of the community effort that got us over the line.

“Building strong relationships and partnerships is important to us here at the club, and this is a wonderful example of two locally respected organisations coming together in so many different and positive ways.

“We’re looking forward to working with everyone at Bimson once again this year.”

John Bimson, Managing Director of Bimson Haulage, added, “Bimson haulage are delighted to announce that for the second year running we will be the main shirt sponsor for Carlisle United.

“It has been an incredible journey and we are so proud to have been in partnership with our home town club during an unforgettable season.

“Everyone at the club have been a pleasure to work with and we are excited to further this relationship into the 2023/24 season in League One.”
