Everton Football Club has announced that football management simulation video game Football Manager will continue to be an official partner for the club’s women’s team.

The renewal of the partnership, first launched in 2021, will see Football Manager branding continue to appear on interview backdrops and across content output from Everton women’s official social media accounts.

The gaming brand will also feature in pitch-side advertising at Everton Women’s purpose-built home at Walton Hall Park.

Alan McTavish, Chief Executive Officer for Everton Women, added, “Having worked extensively with Football Manager in the past, it’s great to be able to continue our relationship with the Collyer brothers, Miles Jacobson and his fantastic team as they work towards incorporating women’s football into their globally successful game.”

“Women’s football is a rapidly evolving commercial landscape and top brands from diverse industry sectors across the globe are identifying it as a phenomenal opportunity to deliver both return on investment and return on objectives.”

English Football League (EFL) One football club Bristol Rovers has renewed its partnership with UK nutrition company The Turmeric Co.

The team will continue to receive The Turmeric Co.’s range of shots to help players with performance and recovery.

James Aitken, Bristol Rovers’ Head of Nutrition, said, “We are delighted to continue our relationship with The Turmeric Co. As a club, we are always looking for healthy, nutritional supplements to aid our players’ recovery and performance. On top of that, they taste great and the players love them!”

Hal’ Robson-Kanu, Founder of The Turmeric Co., added, “We are thrilled to be extending our partnership with Bristol Rovers. With the importance of nutrition becoming widely recognised throughout the industry, it is no surprise that the team is pleased with our nourishing shots. I hope the players will continue to enjoy having our shots as a part of their daily routines. We also provide important nutritional education to supporters, helping them with their daily lives and leading active lifestyles.”

Other football teams that have benefit from The Turmeric Co.’s shots include fellow EFL League One teams Plymouth Argyle and Wycombe Wanderers, Championship side Swansea City, and Premier League side Everton.

National League football club Wrexham AFC had banned striker Paul Mullin from wearing boots featuring an offensive slogan about the Conservative Party.

Mullin revealed the custom-made boots on social media with pictures taken at the club’s Racecourse Ground.

Wrexham, who are owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and is the subject of the recent Disney docuseries Welcome To Wrexham, claimed that the photographs were taken without their knowledge or approval.

The club stated it takes a ‘neutral position’ on politics.
