According to the Financial Times, Everton are in talks to secure new financing as the Premier league club look to recoup a significant revenue shortfall following the end of numerous sponsorship deals with Russian partners.
The Toffees suspended their commercial ties with Russian companies USM, MegaFon and Yota, all of which are owned by the oligarch Alisher Usmanov, earlier this month. The club’s shirt sponsor deal with Cazoo also ends this season. The reports explains that it is exploring the option of raising equity and has held talks on raising debt.
Whisky brand Famous Grouse has furthered its presence within domestic Rugby Union by becoming the broadcast sponsor of Premiership Rugby on ITV Sport.
Famous Grouse is already the Official Whisky of Premiership Rugby, and this new partnership builds on the brands heritage with the sport of rugby.
UK-based Fantasy Football Hub (FFH) has completed a £406,000 funding round to help support its growth in the world of fantasy sports. Participants in this funding round include early-stage investor Pierre Lever, who joins the board as Chair, and Top Ten Sport Ventures led by Markus Egger, formerly an executive with Red Bull’s sports team properties.

The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) has announced a long-term commercial partnership with IMG for the next six Arab Gulf Cup tournaments, being held from 2023 to 2031.
IMG will build a stronger presence in the region to deliver a full scope of services including the marketing of media rights, all sponsorship areas, and corporate hospitality sales.
