Gallagher Premiership rugby union club Exeter Chiefs has announced a new partnership with Bristol Street Motors for the 2022/23 season.

The motor retailer, which operates two locations in the city of Exeter, will receive prominent branding opportunities across the side’s 15,000-capacity Sandy Park stadium.

As official dug-out partner, advertising will feature around the dug-outs and on the four corners of the ground. Big screen advertising, product placement and the sponsorship of an upcoming match also forms part of the deal.

The ‘Player of the Day’ social media vote, for both the men’s and women’s matches, will also carry the Bristol Street Motors name.

UK sports radio station talkSPORT has launched its new UK sports betting brand, talkSPORT BET, in partnership with online gambling operator BetVictor Group.

talkSPORT BET will bring together talkSPORT’s editorial brand with the BetVictor Group’s proprietary technology and gambling expertise.

The platform will offer in-play betting, enhanced accumulator bets, bet boosts, cash-out and a bet builder product.

European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) has appointed specialist sports marketing agency MATTA as its lead creative agency to deliver brand design and campaign development across a range of projects, including the 2023 Heineken Champions Cup and the 2023 EPCR Challenge Cup.

MATTA’s first brief will be to update the overall brand campaign for what will be the ninth season of the Heineken Champions Cup, which starts in December.

The competition previously consisted of the top six nations in European rugby now sees the addition of four South African teams. The finals of both the Heineken Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup, takes place at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, in May 2023.
