Extreme E, the electric off-road racing series, has announced a multi-year partnership with FOX, that will see the suspension manufacturer join the Championship as its official suspension partner.

FOX will be providing all Extreme E teams with a race-ready suspension packages for their ODYSSEY 21 race cars ahead of the Island X Prix double-header in Sardinia in July. The suspension package will help maximise the performance of the E-SUVs, providing greater handling stability, capability and safety.

James Taylor, Chief Championship Officer of Extreme E, said, “I’m delighted to welcome FOX to the Extreme E family. Collaborating with a brand that has such a rich off-road heritage in motorsport and innovative, cutting-edge concepts is a big step forward for the Championship. FOX’s commitment to producing market-leading products, technical expertise and onsite support will be a huge addition to the ODYSSEY 21s. We also look forward to the brand exposure that FOX will bring, particularly in the North American market.”


Football price comparison brand FOOTY.COM has appointed UK-based football PR and sponsorship agency MatchFit as its retained agency. MatchFit will lead on communications for FOOTY.COM, aiming to showcase the brand’s purpose to make football more affordable for players and fans alike.

The ongoing relationship comes after MatchFit collaborated on FOOTY.COM’s recent January campaign, which lampooned the typical transfer window closing hysteria in a parody of television transfer deadline day coverage. The spoof film launched a new brand refresh and featured headline talent in Chelsea and West Ham stars Beth England and Jarrod Bowen respectively, as FOOTY.COM showcased the unique football deals on offer at the online platform.


England Athletics has announced that sports and travel specialists Destination Sport Experiences will becomes its official travel partner in a new partnership.

The new partnership will see several new initiatives being developed and implemented to support and enhance both training and competing for England Athletics members, teams and clubs. At the core of the partnership, Destination Sport Experiences will offer bespoke travel packages for selected England Athletics events, which will include coach services from multiple locations, premium accommodation, VIP hospitality, and a focus on sustainability.


UK Athletics has announced Water In A Box as its official water partner and, in doing so, will support a number of its major UK events over the next two years.

Through the partnership, Water In A Box will provide water in responsible packaging for athletes, officials and event staff across several major event series in the UK, including the Müller Diamond League Birmingham and the Müller UK Athletics Championships this summer. The move consolidates UK Athletics’ commitment to becoming as sustainable as possible during its long list of events.


Author, actor, comedian and TV personality Stephen Fry has been named as the next President of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). His nomination was announced by current President Clare Connor at the most recent Annual General Meeting at Lord’s and Fry will take up the post on 1st October 2022.

Lifelong cricket fan Fry said, “I am honoured and proud to be nominated as the next President of MCC. It is a Club that is known throughout the world for what it represents in the game and to be gifted the opportunity to perform this role is truly humbling.”
