London-based sports and data technology company Genius Sports has secured a new agreement with Canadian broadcaster TSN to deliver NFL coverage on the newly launched TSN+ streaming product.

As the official data partner of the NFL, Genius Sports will help power augmented broadcasts throughout the upcoming NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl LVII

The NFL feeds on TSN+ will provide fans with coverage that includes play-by-play data-driven insights and graphic overlays and visualizations. By assimilating the NFL NGS data into the live broadcast, key player statistics such as the number of passes completed, rushing, passing and receiving yards will be overlayed onto the live action, together with route trails, radar maps and other on-field augmentations.

TSN+ broadcasts will feature Genius Sports’ full suite of augmentation tools which power live feeds on competitions including the NFL, EPL, NBA, March Madness and more.

Professional rugby league club Hull KR has announced University of Hull as a platinum partner for the 2023 season.

The University will feature on the left sleeve of the club’s scholarship, academy, reserves, first Team, Physical Disability and Learning Disability Rugby teams, women’s jerseys and women’s pathway team next season.

Additionally, the University of Hull has become the principal sponsor of the club’s newest side, Hull KR Netball, and will feature on their kits and digital media presence.

Hull KR Chief Executive, Paul Lakin, said, “Hull University are our first commercial partner to position their brand across all nine of our sides, which now spans an incredible 283 players.

Conor Grant has been appointed as incoming Chairman of Racecourse Media Group (RMG), the umbrella organisation for 35 British racecourse shareholders and parent company of Racing TV.

Grant will initially join as a Non-Executive Director on 1st April 2023 and then succeed Roger Lewis as Chairman on1st October 2023.

Grant, said, “I am delighted to be joining Racecourse Media Group at such an exciting time for the business and the broader racing industry. RMG has delivered outstanding results for its shareholders in recent years and I would like to pay tribute to Roger who has done a fantastic job, along with CEO Martin Stevenson, in growing and developing the business. Surrey County Cricket Club has extended its partnership with Cricket Builds Hope, a charity that works to promote the sport in Rwanda, by another three years.

The partnership, originally started in 2015, has seen an international standard ground built in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, that has since staged major qualifiers for ICC global T20 events. As well as this, the ground plays host to a regular calendar of domestic cricket and programmes helping to continue the development of the sport in the east African nation.

The new deal will see the club continue to help fund cricket for change in the country, with a focus on building women and girl’s cricket and helping CBH with their work around increasing female empowerment.

Head of Community, Public Affairs and Projects at Surrey CCC, Jon Surtees, said, “It’s really brilliant that Surrey CCC are able to continue our partnership with Cricket Builds Hope, helping to expand the remarkable growth of cricket in Rwanda.

“To be a part of the work that has gone on to date has been a huge privilege – capped by the incredible scenes when Rwanda U19 Women qualified for the inaugural World Cup. We all hope this will be seen as a vital moment for Rwandan cricket, with teams able to build on this fantastic achievement and continue to carve out a place at the top table of the world game.”


English Football League (EFL) Championship club Bristol City has announced the extension of its partnership with Her Game Too.

Her Game Too is a campaign run by a group of female supporters who are passionate about football and working to eradicate sexism in the football industry. City launched its partnership with the group in 2022.

City’s home fixture against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 21st January will be a continuation of the relationship.  Free tickets have been allocated to local teams and schools in the area, and Her Game Too representatives will be speaking on the big screen at the club’s home stadium Ashton Gate.


RaceNation, the event registration and fundraising platform and operator of SportsGiving fundraising, has announced Tom Kerry as Head of Partnerships.

Tom Kerry’s background consists of a number of roles in the mass participation industry, notably at Limelight Sports Group that has seen him take the role of Chief Operating Officer before undertaking his ongoing role as Head of Sport.

Additionally, Kerry holds positions on the Mass Participation World Global Council and the Running Industry Alliance Board, as well as being one of the directors of the Ealing Half Marathon Legacy Community Interest Company along with being the Running Mayor for the Borough.
