Goodwood has announced Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis as the official timing partner of its annual flagship event, the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercardwhich this year will take place from 23rd to 26th  June.

Roger Dubuis, part of the Richemont Group, has agreed a multi-year deal which will also see it become the presenting partner of the event’s Drivers’ Club, an exclusive space for the drivers and participants to relax and prepare for the races ahead.

Roger Dubuis will also have a presence in the paddock area with examples of watches from its extensive collections. The watchmaker’s logo will appear on the digital ‘count down’ clock at the start line of the Festival of Speed hillcimb as well as on the Goodwood website and live on ITV when the timing element is featured.

Nicola Andreatta, CEO of Roger Dubuis, said, “We are thrilled to join the Festival of Speed. Just as the event is determined to offer the greatest celebration of car culture, we intend to offer the most exciting way to experience Hyper Horology. Together we will create unique performances charged with adrenaline and infused with pleasure, madness and freedom. This is going to be an annual epic rendezvous.”


UK-based sports data supplier IMG ARENA has signed a multi-year agreement with DFB GmbH & Co. KG, the marketing and commercial arm of the German Football Association DFB. The partnership covers streaming and fast path data rights for all 63 matches in the DFB-Pokal, Germany’s storied national knockout cup competition, commencing with the 2022/23 season of the tournament, allowing distribution of the content to IMG ARENA’s global network of sportsbook operators.

The deal expands IMG ARENA’s data-driven partnership with DFB, which already includes collaboration around the 3. Liga and FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga for fastpath betting data rights through a European Leagues agreement.

The Rugby Players Association (RPA) has announced Setanta Institute as its official education partner on a three-year deal.

Setanta Institute is an internationally renowned provider of higher education in human performance and sports science. Setanta operates campus locations in the UK, Ireland, Italy, USA, South Africa, and India led by a team of highly experienced academics and practitioners who have worked with some of the world’s most prestigious sporting organisations. The deal will allow RPA members to benefit from discounted tuition fees across the Strength and Conditioning undergraduate pathway and on the Setanta Masters programmes.


The Great Britain SailGP Team has announced the renewal of its partnership with Corpay, a global business payment solutions organisation. As the British team’s official FX payments partner, Corpay will provide the team access to their innovative solutions to help mitigate foreign exchange exposure for their day-to-day business needs, along with the ability to manage their global payments from a single point of access through Corpay’s trading platform.

With SailGP events taking place in iconic locations including San Francisco, St. Tropez, Singapore, Dubai, as well as the team’s home event in Plymouth, Corpay’s industry-leading solutions will help the Great Britain SailGP Team mitigate foreign exchange exposure for their day-to-day business needs.


American social media company Snap announced a new content partnership with ITV, the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster, to host made-for-mobile, short-form content from ITV’s biggest shows on Snapchat. This will include highlights from the FIFA World Cup 2022, which takes place in Qatar at the end of this year. As the countdown begins to the FIFA World Cup 2022, fans will be able to watch the build up and official highlights from the tournament on Snapchat’s premium content platform, Discover.

Former NHS CEO Mike Farrar has been named as the new Chair of ukactive and is set to take over from outgoing Chair, Baroness Tanni Grey Thompson, in August. Farrar remains a prominent thought leader and advisor to the NHS and the wider healthcare sector.

Farrar brings a wealth of knowledge to ukactive, having previously served as Chair of the National Strategic Health Authority Chief Executive’s Group from 2002 to 2009; Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation from 2011 to 2013; Vice and Interim Chair of Sport England between 2009 to 2012; and Chair of Swim England from 2015 to 2020.
