Halfspace Group, a London-based growth marketing agency for the sports and entertainment industries, has announced the launch of its a new data partnership service product entitled ‘Deadbolt’.

According to a statement, the Deadbolt product offering has been built in conjunction with expert technology providers and combines data clean room technology alongside Halfspace Group’s full-service marketing experience in sport spanning data, social & content analysis, commercial (sponsorship, rights, ticketing, merchandise), creative and design, streaming, technology, Web 3.0 and media.    

The new product offering will allow sponsors, rights holders, event owners and athletes a privacy-secure environment to share, match, enrich, interrogate and activate data. 

Halfspace Group Co-Founder Sanjit Atwal commented, “What we are hearing from the worlds largest brands in sponsorship is that they want to be able to analyse and optimise the fan data of their partners. From the rights holder side, it is clear that with a robust partner data programme – enabled by great technology and consultancy, they will be able to maximise their commercial opportunities in a privacy safe way.”


American social media company Snap has announced a new content partnership with London-based football media company COPA90 to host a new show called Goals Talk. Snapchatters will be able to watch videos about the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, and the extraordinary stories around Women’s football through Snapchat Discover. 

As interest around women’s football continues to grow with the UEFA Women’s Euro tournament delivering record-breaking viewing numbers, Snapchat’s content platform, Discover, aims to become the go-to destination to watch, share and discuss Women’s football. COPA90’s Goals Talk show will include behind-the-scenes stories from the UEFA Women’s Euros 2022, content from COPA90’s Creator Community and stories about Women’s Football.


Uber has announced a new partnership with a major operator of small-sided football artificial pitches in Europe, Powerleague, to cover the cost of rides to and from games for women participating in matches. The initiative is being trialled this July before rolling out nationwide this winter, when travelling at night could leave players feeling unsafe.

To kick off the partnership, Uber has announced that from 30th October 2022, they will be providing Women’s Powerleague teams with credit to allow their players to travel safely to and from their games. This is all part of Ubers commitment to “help increase participation in grassroots women’s football and help the next generation of women football superstars achieve their dreams and represent the Lionesses at the next European Championship.”
