British racecourse operator The Jockey Club has agreed a commercial deal with horseracing lotto company The Racehorse Lotto.
The partnership will see The Racehorse Lotto become The Jockey Club’s official and exclusive lotto and raffle partner as well as co-branding in marketing campaigns.
The partnership will be officially launched at this year’s Randox Grand National Festival with the first race on Opening Day being run as The Racehorse Lotto Manifesto Novices’ Chase.
Hugh O’Donnell, Founder and CEO of Furlong Gaming, the parent company of Racehorse Lotto, said, “We are delighted to have signed a deal with The Jockey Club to become its official lotto and raffle partner.

The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship Series organiser, TOCA, has announced a three-year extension to its media partnership with Autocar.
The contract renewal will see ‘expanded, extensive and in-depth media coverage of the series’ that will include ‘regular features, news, race reports, competitions and blogs’ published by Autocar – both in print and online.
The new contract will also place greater emphasis on digital media, with a focus on video content and wider social media activations.
The Autocar logo will continue to feature on every BTCC car as well as the podium and interview backdrops across the 2023, 2024 and 2025 British Touring Car Championship seasons.
Alan Gow, BTCC Chief Executive, said, “It’s brilliant news that our longstanding partnership with Haymarket Consumer Media has been extended and enhanced with this latest agreement, bringing us into a second decade of working together.
“The expanded coverage of the Championship in Autocar has proved to be hugely popular for both new and current fans, so we’re delighted to continue this agreement until at least 2025.”
Betfred has been announced as a new sponsor of The Oaks and The Derby at Epsom Downs.
In a three-year deal, Betfred will also support two other races across the two days of The Derby meeting, which in 2023 takes place on Friday 2nd June and Saturday 3rd June.
Betfred was the sport’s biggest sponsor between 2011 and 2018, when its sponsorships included The Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Group One Sprint Cup at Haydock Park and Newmarket’s ‘Autumn Double’.

The Premier League has confirmed that six clubs will travel to the United States for a pre-season tournament in July.
Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Fulham and Newcastle United will participate in the tournament hosted across five major East Coast cities between 2nd July and 30th July 2023.
Nine matches will take place at stadiums in Atlanta, Harrison, Orlando, Philadelphia and Landover.
The tournament marks the first time the Premier League has hosted a pre-season tournament in the US.
