KYMIRA, the wearable infrared performance clothing brand, has signed England rugby international Jonny May as a brand ambassador.
May will use KYMIRAproducts as part of his training and recovery for his domestic matches with Gloucester Rugby and with the England squad for the 2023 Six Nations and 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Jonny May commented, “I’m delighted to join the team at KYMIRA as an ambassador. I’ve been using their products for a while now and they’ve become an integral part of my training and recovery routine.
“I’m always looking for new ways to gain those small percentages which make such a difference in elite sport and I place a high premium on implementing techniques which can help me stay fit and firing on the rugby pitch.

May joins a roster of KYMIRAclients which includes athletes and clubs from a range of sports including football, rugby union, golf, and cycling. The announcement follows the recent signing of partnerships with football clubs Swansea City and Reading FC.
The holding company of Premier League football club Aston Villa, V Sports, has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire 46% of the shares in Portuguese club Vitória Sport Clube.
The agreement, which requires ratification by members of the Primeira Liga team, will grow the V Sports portfolio and signals the start of its mission to create multi-club ownership model, similar to the City Football Group.
V Sports plans to encourage the sharing of worldwide scouting networks, academy coaching methodologies, best practice and youth academy development strategies between clubs in its portfolio.

Somerset County Cricket Club has agreed a 12-month partnership with Vertu Motors.
The motor retailer’s branding will feature on the sleeve of the club’s LV= Insurance County Championship and One-Day Cup playing shirts.
Vertu Motors will also become a One-Day Cup big screen boundary partner and T20 live stream partner, giving the retailer significant visibility at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

English Football League (EFL) Two football club Swindon Town has partnered with Electric Center.
The UK electrical wholesaler has signed a matchday attendance sponsorship deal for the remainder of the 2022/2023 season.
As part of the agreement , Electric Center will have branding on Swindon’s matchday attendance graphics across its social media channels, along with PA system announcements for the remaining games at the County Ground this season.
Swindon Town Commercial Manager, James Watts, said, “We are delighted that Electric Center have become the latest in a long line of new commercial partners at the football club as it shows a continued growth off the field during the 2022/2023 season.”
