New Balance, the sportswear and apparel brand, has launched a new campaign entitled ‘Every Runner Has A Reason’.

The campaign tells the stories of people of all abilities – from those who may not realise they are running as they sprint to catch a bus, for example, to those who are seasoned marathon participants.

“New Balance believes running is for everyone and we want to dispel any myths or stigma around people who may not class themselves as a runner,” said Samantha Matthews, Senior Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland at New Balance.

EFL League One football club Oxford United FC has submitted a proposal to build a new 18,000-seat stadium at Stratfield Brake, an 18-hectare site situated three miles north of the city.

The club’s current lease to play at the Kassam Stadium, which has been its home since moving from the Manor Ground in 2001, will expire in 2026.

The proposal for the new stadium at Stratfield Brake, where various community sports teams are based, will be discussed at an Oxfordshire County Council cabinet meeting on 18th January.
