New York-based KORE Software has acquired fellow marketing solutions organisation Sports Alliance.

Founded in London UK in 2002, Sports Alliance serves over 140 sports brands across the UK, Europe and the Americas

According to a statement, ‘The new partnership between KORE Software and Sports Alliance strengthens and expands best-in-class sponsorship, ticketing, fan engagement, and data analytics solutions’ while both companies have overlapping clients including the Premier League and the NFL.

“By bringing Sports Alliance into the KORE portfolio, we are expanding our global footprint and capabilities,” said KORE Software CEO, Jason Fletcher. “This marriage bolsters KORE’s position as the most extensive provider of engagement marketing solutions across the sports and entertainment marketplace. We are excited for what we can continue to achieve together. “


Southampton Football Club has announced an extension to its existing agreement with KBE Drinks.

Under terms of the agreement, initially signed at the start of the 2019/20 season, KBE Drinks’ flagship brand Kingfisher will continue as the main pouring brand at the Premier League club’s 32,384-capacity Saint Mary’s Stadium.


Worcester-based Scimitar Sportswear has been appointed as the official apparel brand of Racing League for the 2022 competition, which starts on Thursday August 4 at Doncaster Racecourse.

Under terms of the agreement, Scimitar will provide all elements of Racing League branded apparel for participants for the 2022 competition. These will include jockeys’ team silks, as well as branded items for trainers, owners and racing staff associated with each of the seven regional teams taking part.

Women’s football media brand Indivisa has partnered with low-alcohol brewery Freestar and East London football league The Goalposts League to create The Goal Posts IPA, a limited edition 0.5% India pale ale.

All proceeds from the special edition beer will go to Street Elite, a charity using football to support young people impacted by crime, violence, and inequality.
