Norwich City has announced that Lotus will continue as the shirt sponsor for its men’s team throughout the 2023/24 football season.

The one-year extension takes the relationship between the Championship team and the British automotive company into its fifth year.

Matt Windle, MD of Lotus Cars, said, “We are thrilled to see the Lotus logo on Norwich City’s first team shirts for a third year. The relationship with Norwich City is important to us as a way to connect with their fans and the local community and we are looking forward to a great season ahead.”

League Two football club Bradford City AFC has announced that University of Bradford will become the team’s official back of shirt sponsor for the next three seasons.

The relationship between the two organisations began in July 2022, when the University of Bradford was announced as the title sponsor of the team’s 25,136-capacity home stadium.

Bradford City’s Chief Commercial Officer, Davide Longo, said, “We are delighted to be further strengthening an already significant partnership with the University of Bradford, in a deal which will see them become our official back of shirt sponsor for the next three years.

“Working with Bradford-based businesses and other key players from across the district is hugely important for us, and this agreement signifies the start of another exciting period for the club, partnered with University of Bradford.

“The first year of our partnership has already proved highly beneficial, not only for the two parties but also for thousands of individuals across the district, as we continue to harness and nurture the young talent this city has.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Vice-Chancellor Professor Shirley Congdon and the brilliant staff at the university for their hard work and fantastic support, and for sharing our vision and many of our core values, which has in turn allowed this partnership to flourish.

“We are looking forward to what the next three years hold – and, of course, seeing the University of Bradford’s name on the rear of our playing and replica shirts.”

British Basketball League (BBL) team Sheffield Sharks has revealed a new logo and rebrand.

Sharks General Manager, Sarah Backovic, said, “The rebrand aligns with the new season, the new team, the new arena, and the new era of the Sharks. We are incredibly thrilled about the direction in which our organisation is headed. This is a monumental moment for the B. Braun Sheffield Sharks, and we can’t wait to share our vision and passion with our devoted fans and the entire Sheffield community.

“The Sharks have always been deeply rooted in Sheffield’s rich sporting culture, and this rebrand represents a commitment to honouring the team’s storied history while embracing a dynamic future.”
