Aldar Properties, the leading UAE real estate developer, has become the official real estate partner of Premier League club Manchester City FC.
The partnership will see City and Aldar work together on a number of development projects within the UAE region. Aldar will use the Manchester City brand and intellectual property to promote specific residential projects to the club’s global audience.
The DP World Tour has announced the creation of a new event in the UAE that will debut next month.
The Ras Al Khaimah Team Challenge is a one-day exhibition event, to be played on 8th February at Al Hamra Golf Club, featuring 26 teams of two professionals per team. The event will be broadcast live in the UK and Ireland on Sky Sports.
Extreme Networks, the cloud-driven networking company, has become Manchester United’s official wi-fi network solutions and analytics provider.
The group will install Extreme Wi-Fi 6 access points at Old Trafford from later this year to enhance the fan experience and increase the club’s capability to deliver secure digital services. Additionally, Extreme will help Manchester United access real-time network analytics to drive more personalised and informed decisions around both the fan experience and overall venue operations.
Actiph Water has become an official supplier to the World Gymnastics Championships Liverpool 2022, providing its alkaline ionised water products to volunteers and event staff.
The partnership will see the planting of 1,000 trees as part of Actiph’s ‘tree per case’ campaign, alongside widespread recycling facilities on site during the championships.
Broadcast production agency Whisper has appointed Pete Thomas to lead its sports production team as Head of Sport.
Thomas, previously with Noah Media Group, has more than 15 years of sports broadcast experience covering Premier League and UEFA Champions League football, as well as NFL American football and rugby.
