Manchester City has announced a new partnership with Qualtrics who become the Club’s Official Experience Management Software Partner.
From overall matchday experience to catering, facilities, retail and more, Qualtrics hope to provide valuable insight and real-time data from fans to help the Club shape future strategic planning and decisions.
The new partnership is also expected to include further activations across wider areas of the organisation in coming months, using Qualtrics’ experience management software to also listen to fan feedback and enhance the digital experience for City fans across the globe.
The BBC has announced that the 68th BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards will take place at Media City, Salford on 19th December 2021.
Presenting the BBC One show in front of a live studio audience and millions more at home, Gary Lineker, Clare Balding, Gabby Logan and Alex Scott will celebrate a sensational 12 months of incredible sporting action.
They will also champion the many unsung heroes in our communities who do so much inspiring work at grassroots level. The Unsung Hero award celebrates individuals that give up their own free time to help others take part in grassroots sports. Nominations for the award close on 17th October 2021.
Jack Wilshere and Karen Carney MBE were joined by 25 young football hopefuls at Charlton Athletic FC, to officially kick-off the Utilita Kids and Girls Cup, two of England’s biggest national football tournaments for junior schoolchildren culminating in four Wembley finals.
As part of Utilita’s work to help kids keep active through playing football, over 22,000 schoolchildren will take part in the six-a-side tournament for the chance to represent their local EFL club and compete for a once in a lifetime appearance at Wembley.
The Kids and Girls Cup has engaged over 250,000 children since its inception in 2007 and has previously inspired the likes of Manchester United midfielder and Scotland international Scott McTominay and Crystal Palace midfielder Will Hughes who both represented their schools and got their first taste of Wembley success in the competition.
Whisper, the production company co-founded by Jake Humphrey, has announced that South African producer and presenter, Elma Smit has taken up a permanent role with the Team.
In her new role, Smit will deliver as both a presenter and producer, working as part of Whisper’s branded content and digital team, alongside commercial director Geoff Riding, creative digital lead Joe Bennett and account director Samantha Lockett.
Whisper’s current rugby portfolio includes World Rugby, The Women’s Six Nations, The British & Irish Lions, Welsh Rugby Union and Women’s Autumn Internationals, as well as host broadcaster of the Rugby League World Cup.
Harlequins has unveiled global star DJ Pete Tong, MBE, as the music act for Big Game 13.
Tong will deliver a 25-minute DJ set on the pitch at Twickenham stadium between the Harlequins Men’s and Women’s matches, in what promises to be the biggest ever Big Game event, packed with entertainment.
Big Game 13 takes place on 27th December 2021. The first game featuring Harlequins Women v Wasps Women kicks off at 13.00. The men’s later game between Harlequins and Northampton Saints kicks off at 17.00.
