Match Hospitality has launched its packages for England fans ahead of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Match’s ticket-inclusive hospitality packages range from single fixtures to a group of matches, in various combinations of teams and venues. There are five different levels of hospitality packages from the ‘Match Club’, for those who prefer a family-friendly atmosphere, to the exclusive ‘Pearl Lounge’.


Games developer Electronic Arts (EA), whose game titles include FIFA and Madden NFL, posted total net revenue of more than $1.7bn (£1.25bn) for the third quarter of the financial year.

The group’s revenue was up 6.6% year-on-year, although operating profit fell due to increased expenses. EA said that the EA player network had grown to more than 540 million unique active accounts.


Global football publisher Goal has been named the official media partner of the inaugural Arnold Clark Cup, the international women’s football tournament that will take place in England later this month.

Goal will work with event organisers, Pitch International, to provide content about the tournament to its millions of fans, as well as driving ticket sales both through its website and social platforms, including TikTok.


The Duchess of Cambridge has become Patron of both the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League.

A statement said the new patronage, which was awarded by Queen Elizabeth, “closely aligns with Her Royal Highness’ longstanding passion for sport and the lifelong benefits it can provide, both within our communities and on an individual level”. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, formerly held the role.


Former Sport Industry NextGen leader Kieran Holmes-Darby has been named Gaming Director at Formula E.

The Co-Founder and former Chief Executive of Excel Esports will lead gamification projects at the motorsports organisation.
