McLaren Racing has agreed a new partnership with Alpinestars ahead of the 2024 racing season.

As per the agreement, the Italian manufacturer of professional racing products will become McLaren’s official partner for technical clothing.

The deal will see Alpinestars kit out all drivers and crew members spanning across all McLaren divisions including Formula 1, IndyCar, Formula E, Extreme E and F1 Academy teams.

Matt Dennington, Executive Director, Partnerships and Accelerator at McLaren Racing, said, “With Alpinestars as our new official partner for technical clothing, we’re excited to bring a new look across our McLaren Racing teams this 2024 season. We’re proud to outfit our drivers and crew members in their advanced technical gear.”

Swimwear brand Speedo has announced the dual signing of German professional swimmers Isabel Gose and Angelina Köhler. 

The UK-headquartered brand will also ‘support the pair as they set their sights on the Paris Olympic Games 2024’, as well as providing them with Speedo products.

Isabel Gose, Swimmer, said, “I am very grateful to now be a part of Team Speedo! Looking ahead to the future, I am convinced that Speedo’s support will allow me to show my full potential.”

English Football League (EFL) Championship club Cardiff City has appointed Huw Warren as its new Head of Commercial.

Huw Warren, said, “A real positive feel on and off the field at the club. Looking forward to making an impact.”


ATP Media has appointed Mark Hogan as its new Director of Sales.

Mark Hogan, said, “I’m pleased to announce that I have joined the talented team at ATP Media as Director of Sales. My career journey started in the world of tennis, and I’m thrilled to be returning to the sport.

IMG has recruited Shane Campbell as its new Vice President of Media and Strategy.

The PGMOL (Professional Game Match Officials Limited) has recruited Martin Glenn as the organisation’s new chair.

Glenn was the former Chief Executive Officer of The Football Association and immediately replaces Mike Foster who held the role for seven years.

Trevor Birch, Chief Executive Officer of the English Football League (EFL) and PGMOL Board member, said, “Martin is an experienced leader who understands football administration and the EFL is delighted to see someone of his calibre appointed to such an important position within the game.”


British diver Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix has been announced as a Toyota Olympic ambassador.

The announcement coincides with the release of the third episode of The Journey docuseries, produced with Team GB, which features Spendolini-Sirieix talking about the mental challenges she has overcome to reach top level competition, and her dreams of achieving Olympic success.
