Shorts: Mclaren, Switch The Play, Right Formula

McLaren Racing has announced a new partnership with EasyPost. EasyPost helps companies ship packages around the world. Like McLaren Racing, EasyPost prides themselves on being fast, flexible and reliable.

As part of the partnership, the EasyPost branding will be represented on the McLaren F1 team pit crew helmets and the rear wing of the McLaren MCL35M race cars. From the 2022 season, the branding will be displayed on the suspension arms of the McLaren race cars and the McLaren F1 team pit crew helmets. 

The technology company will start supporting the McLaren Formula 1 team at the US Grand Prix which takes place on 24th October 2021 in Austin, Texas.


Switch The Play Foundation, the charity dedicated to supporting all sportspeople to successfully transition into life outside of sport, has relaunched their ‘Switched On’ athlete support service. 

Switched On is a free personal and professional development support package, designed to empower current and retired sportspeople to thrive both through and beyond sport. Its ambition is to help sportspeople develop the skills they need for when the time comes to step out of the sporting environment.

The service focuses on four key areas: one-to-one support with a mentor, career pathways, virtual learning and wellbeing and mental health advice.


Right Formula, a sports and entertainment marketing consultancy, has appointed the United Nations Sports for Climate Action Framework Co-Chair, Dan Reading, as Head of Sustainability.

In the newly created position of Head of Sustainability, Reading, who was recently crowned the 2021 Environmental Professional of the Year by the Society for the Environment, will now lead Right Formula’s sustainability strategy as well as offering in-class consultancy to a number of the business’s clients which include Aggreko, Bang & Olufsen, Genpact, Hilton Hotels, IWC, Kia Motors, Loch Lomond Whiskies, Logitech, Pirelli, SAP, Vestas and Vodafone.

Previously, Reading had spent almost a decade at the Royal Yachting Association, which included a secondment at London 2012 as Olympic & Paralympic Sailing Sustainability Manager. He also developed and implemented sustainability strategies and systems for Goodwood, Powerboat P1, America’s Cup, The Ocean Race and hospitality at the Wimbledon Championships.
