Middlesex Cricket has announced a Hytro as its official blood flow restriction training partner.
After building a strong presence in football and rugby, Hytro is now looking to expand into cricket for the first time.
Under terms of the new agreement, Hytro will be providing its product to Middlesex Cricket first team as well as offering education to players and coaching staff.

Hytro is currently being used by teams including St Helens RLC, Leeds Rhinos, Catalan Dragons, Bath Rugby, Newcastle Falcons, Newcastle Thunder, Aston Villa FC, Rangers FC, Blackburn Rovers FC, Everton FC, UFC Performance Institute and Alpine Academy.
Gallagher Premiership rugby union club Sale Sharks has announced the extension of its deal with health foods brand The Turmeric Co.
Founded by former Premier League footballer Thomas Robson-Kanu, The Turmeric Co. offers blends of raw turmeric shots, which currently form part of the Sale Sharks first team’s nutrition plan.
The extended collaboration will see the brand continue providing the Manchester-based club with its products, just as it does to a number of other rugby union clubs, including Leicester Tigers, Ealing Trailfinders, and rugby league’s Salford Red Devils.

Global sports technology company Sportradar and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that for the first time, live fielding data will be captured using an innovative cricket data collection tool developed by Sportradar at the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
Sportradar is the official data supplier for the ICC and, according to a statement, its new tool will aim to ‘bring cricket fans closer to the global sport through a higher level of engagement and understanding of the third discipline of cricket as the match happens.’
The product will become the first in the world to collect and code comprehensive fielding data and standard batting and bowling statistics, capturing up to 80 data points per ball bowled and at the lowest latency in market. The data will be used to power ICC’s fan-facing website and official mobile application.
