Norwich City FC has unveiled DraftKings as the club’s official fantasy sports partner for the remainder of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
Under the deal, DraftKings will receive significant branding exposure via the club’s stadium, website and social media platforms.
Newcastle United FC has announced StatsBomb as its data and analytics provider.
Newcastle has integrated StatsBomb’s advanced event data and IQ platform into its recruitment and performance analysis departments, allowing the club to generate detailed insights from thousands of match events across dozens of competitions worldwide.
The Rugby Players Association, the representative body for professional rugby union players in England, has announced Athletic Performance Education Company (APEC) as an official business club partner.
APEC will serve as the business club’s official apprenticeship provider for the next three years, providing the association’s members and partners with various educational resources.
The Strive Group and esports organisation LDN UTD have teamed up to launch UTD EDN, a new educational partnership that will offer an inclusive platform to support youngsters who are considering a career in the burgeoning esports and gaming sector.
At the outset, the collaborative programme will offer individuals an eight-week learning experience at LDN UTD’s centre of excellence in London, followed by more than 70 hours of work experience at LDN UTD or an affiliated business in the sector.
Special Olympics GB is set to return to full-scale competition this year with the launch of its new Summer Series of Sport, which will run between June and September.
The series will feature a number of single and multi-sport events in a minimum of 12 sports, including athletics, swimming and basketball, to give at least 1,500 athletes the opportunity to compete for the first time since February 2020 due to Covid-19.
