Premier League football club Nottingham Forest has announced the extension of its partnership with European electric utility company E.ON until the end of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

E.ON, the UK’s largest electricity provider, initially worked with Nottingham Forest during the 2021/22 EFL Championship campaign, raising awareness of climate change issues under the banner of #ActionForClimate.

It will continue using the club’s communication channels to share educational content around sustainability.

As part of the latest agreement E.ON will also be supporting Nottingham Forest in becoming more sustainable itself. This has already started with E.ON providing energy efficiency recommendations for the stadium and training ground.

John Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Forest, said, “We are delighted to continue our relationship with E.ON and help drive awareness of its Action for Climate campaign, which seeks to educate people on how to be more efficient with their energy usage and the solutions that can lead to more sustainable practices.

“We look forward to building on last season’s positive work together as we strive to bring improved and long-lasting change in our communities.”
