Social media platform TikTok has agreed an exclusive content partnership with the PGA Tour, DP World Tour (European Tour), and The Open organiser, The R&A.
The three organisations will work with the social media platform to create golf content, including top players, behind-the-scenes clips, and tips on how to play.
There will also be features such as a bespoke hashtag challenge during the Scottish Open and The Open from 6th July to 15th July. The #Golf hashtag has already seen success on the platform, reaching 27 billion views to-date.

London-based sports-data company Sportradar has announced a multi-year agreement with the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF), marking its first significant partnership with basketball in Turkey.
Sportradar will deploy its comprehensive suite of services, including data collection, integrity services through the Universal Fraud Detection System, and the installation of the Synergy Automated Camera System, featuring motion-based AI video capture technology, across several TBF leagues in 27 venues around the country. As part of the agreement, Sportradar will distribute betting video content and data both domestically and internationally.
London-based OTT technology providor StreamAMG has been chosen by Italian football club Inter Milan to supply the technology behind its new online video service.
From the start of the 2022/23 season, the Nerazzurri will use StreamAMG’s services to run Inter TV, the Serie A club’s brand-new OTT service that offers on-demand exclusive club content around the men’s and women’s teams, plus live streaming from the club’s pre-season and academy campaigns.
