Mr Vegas, an online video slots operator, has become the new title sponsor of the Professional Darts Corporation’s (PDC) Grand Slam of Darts.

Under this multi-year deal, Mr Vegas will also become title sponsor of Nordic Darts Masters events and has agreed a round of ‘Mr Vegas Darts Nights’ with the PDC across the UK to connect players and fans with legends of the sport.

The Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts is being held at Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton from 11th – 19th November 2023.

Ulle Skottling, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Mr Vegas, said, “This partnership comes at the right time for us, and to be the title sponsor at two of the biggest darts events in the world is a huge opportunity for Mr Vegas.”

Matthew Porter, Chief Executive Officer of the PDC, commented, “Mr Vegas is one of the casino industry’s up-and-coming operators and we are delighted that they will be sponsoring two of the best PDC events in the calendar in a multi-year exclusive partnership.”


Premier League football club Aston Villa and Japanese club Vissel Kobe have sealed a new strategic partnership.

The new partnership sees the J1 League side, that currently sits top of the division, join the V Sports global network of clubs alongside ZED FC and Vitória Sport Clube from Egypt and Portugal respectively.

As part of the deal, Villa and Vissel Kobe will work to create a ‘bilateral development framework for players and staff which aims to enhance youth development, alongside the cooperative sharing of ideas, techniques and best practice.’

The partnership will look to further open up pathways for talented Japanese players to play in Europe and, ultimately, at Aston Villa.

The new partnership will also see a Villa Academy team travel to Japan in 2024 to take part in an international tournament.


The Premier League and EA SPORTS have launched the 2023/24 ePremier League.

Entering its sixth season, players will compete in the tournament on the newly released EA SPORTS FC 24, with a £100,000 prize pool on offer and seats available for the winning club in the UEFA eChampions League and the FC Pro World Championships.

The tournament commences with online qualification in November, with dates varying per club.

Cheltenham Racecourse has partnered with luxury fashion brand Holland Cooper.

As part of the new agreement, Holland Cooper will become a fashion partner for the forthcoming season, expanding on its current partnership with the British racecourse.

Sunset+Vine has appointed Peter Angell as Chief Executive Officer.

Angell has operated as an independent sports media consultant since 2020, following eight years in the role of SVP, global media production at Lagardére Sports (now Sportfive) where he was overall responsible for global media operations and productions.

Angell will officially join the UK sports broadcast production agency on 1st November.

Gallagher Premiership rugby union club Leicester Tigers has renewed its partnership with fourfive.

Founded in 2018, fourfive provides professional standard nutrition and CBD products and will continue as the Tigers’ official wellness nutrition partner.
