Pentathlon GB, the national governing body of modern pentathlon, has accelerated its partnership with British Obstacle Sports, the national governing body for obstacle course racing and ninja sport in the UK.

The partnership will increase the number and variety of obstacle competitions and events being delivered across the UK.

Pentathlon GB has also recently appointed British Obstacle Sports’ President, James Burton, as a co-opted member of the Pentathlon GB Board.

James Burton, President of British Obstacle Sports, said, “Working together we can help to bring the endless possibilities of obstacle sports to even more communities across the UK. We’re delighted that Pentathlon GB will provide guest obstacles at our Junior National Championships, and we will partner on our 100m Sprint National Championship in January 2024.”

Trafford Wilson, Chief Executive Officer at Pentathlon GB, added, “This new strategic partnership supports our long term vision to establish a sustainable, innovative and inclusive organisation that not only supports its current members but also motivates new participants to embrace the sport. The appointment of James Burton to our board will help us to drive the future of pentathlon forward.”


SailGP joins forces with Mover a company specialising in 100 percent plastic-free apparel, to create the first plastic-free technical sportswear.

London-based Soccerment announces partnership with Inter Milan and Italy defender Federico Dimarco.

The three-year strategic partnership with Inter Milan and Italian National Team player Federico Dimarco aims to capitalise on a new era of football through AI and data integration.

As part of the collaboration, Dimarco, who is represented by sport management agency Roc Nation, will utilise Soccerment’s XSEED AI-integrated shin guards and Soccerment will, in turn, furnish Dimarco with unique data insights to further refine his game.
