The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced a partnership with the sustainable performance sportswear brand Pressio.

Under terms of the agreement, Pressio will deliver a brand-new range of sustainable merchandise for the PTO.

“We are setting the bar high – this will be the world’s most sustainable event range ever created,” said Pressio Founder, Jamie Hunt, a former professional triathlete and co-founder of sportswear brand 2XU.

“It is an honour to partner with the PTO. I’ve been competing in triathlon for 35 years and the PTO’s approach and unwavering commitment to the sport of triathlon is second to none. Their focus on bringing sustainability into their events is a great example of a commitment to put the athletes first. Having taken part in thousands of events around the world, it’s disappointing to see even top-tier event brands supplying low-quality, un-sustainably manufactured event gear – our partnership with the PTO will shine a light on best practice for the industry.”
