Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) has agreed a broadcast deal with RugbyPass TV.
The agreement, announced by World Rugby, will see one match per round of the PWR 2023/24 season broadcast live on RugbyPass TV in all countries across the world excluding US, Canada, UK and Ireland.
James Rothwell, Chief Marketing and Content Officer of World Rugby said, “Consolidating rights, building central platforms, making it as easy and obvious as possible to find rugby content is critical for the growth of the sport.
“We want to make the sport absolutely unmissable and show that we’re really winning that attention battle.
“If rugby continues to work together and make central platforms for fans to watch content and continues to open the doors to access, I have absolutely no doubt that we will be able to double, even triple, the size of the rugby fanbase over the next couple of years.”
This collaboration comes after PWR’s multi-year deal with TNT Sports earlier this month.
