SailGP launches tender for two new teams


A tender process seeking investment for ownership of two new teams to join the global racing championship in the 2026 season has been confirmed by SailGP. The process is open to investors across sport, business, and entertainment, with initial bids closing in mid-August 2025 and the selection process concluding in early September 2025. Deloitte’s Sports Business Group is managing the process.

Andrew Thompson, SailGP Managing Director, said, “We’re excited to confirm details of this exciting next stage in SailGP’s global expansion. With 12 teams now on the startline, SailGP is well primed to introduce two new nations to the fleet from 2026 onwards.”


Team Brady Partners with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE for 2025 E1 Season

Team Brady has secured BOMBAY SAPPHIRE, the premium gin brand, as its official partner for the 2025 UIM E1 World Championship season. The partnership aligns with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE’s global sponsorship of the all-electric race boat series and includes collaborations throughout the season leading to the Miami finale.

Team Brady, owned by seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady, won the inaugural E1 Championship and continues to lead in the series both competitively and innovatively. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE will feature as the official gin partner of the championship, served in VIP hospitality areas such as the Ocean Club, highlighting the brand’s focus on craftsmanship and sustainable sourcing.

This partnership supports both organisations’ focus on innovation, sustainability, and high performance, coinciding with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE’s “Step Into The Blue” campaign, which celebrates natural beauty and immersive experiences.


SHIFT Active Media to Lead Global PR for Castelli

SHIFT Active Media has been appointed to manage global PR and communications for Castelli, the Italian cycling apparel brand, following a competitive selection process. The partnership will focus on amplifying Castelli’s product innovations and brand story across international media, leveraging SHIFT’s expertise and media network.

SHIFT will collaborate with Castelli’s global teams and athletes across Road, Gravel, and Triathlon disciplines, supporting media relations, events, and press office management. The agency will also highlight Castelli’s heritage as it approaches its 150th anniversary, reinforcing its position in the cycling apparel market.
