The World Snooker Tour has confirmed a partnership with Tourism Exchange Great Britain (TXGB) and launched its official online booking platform for accommodation and experiences across their multiple UK based events.
Fans will be able to use the platform to connect them with multiple tourism suppliers across the towns and cities the World Snooker Tour visits. This partnership kicked off with the Betfred World Championship in Sheffield which began on Saturday 16th April 2022.
Northern Irish football club Derry City has announced that Paul Diamond (Diamond Corrugated) has signed a new three-year sponsorship deal with the club. The extension will see the brand continue to appear on the League of Ireland Premier Division team’s shirt.
Derry City Chairman, Philip O’Doherty, described it as, “fantastic news for Derry City given that Paul has been an outstanding supporter of the club over many years.”
Wizz Air has been announced as the new title sponsor of the Cardiff Half Marathon as entries for the 19th edition of the event go on sale. The low-cost European airline will take over the title sponsorship from Cardiff University, who has been the partner in position since 2016, ahead of the opening of their new base at Cardiff Airport.
The first Wizz Air Cardiff Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 2nd October 2022, building on successful Wizz Air partnerships with running events in European cities including Budapest, Skopje, Sofia, Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest and Kyiv.
