Somerset County Cricket Club has extended its sponsorship agreement with UK car dealership Marsh Kia.
The one-year extension will see Marsh Kia continue to sponsor a First XI player and benefit from high visibility ground branding at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
It has also expanded its investment through sponsorship of a One-Day Cup fixture and e-newsletter marketing.
Regarding the partnership, SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said, “We are pleased to be working with Marsh Kia again in 2023 and are delighted to see the growth in their investment. It is proof that the collaboration worked in 2022 and we look forward to building on this success and supporting their business objectives in the coming year.”
Adam Liddicoat, General Manager at Marsh Kia, added, “We’re really looking forward to building on our relationship from last year and supporting the Club into the new season.”
Saudi Arabian national airline SAUDIA has announced ABB FIA Formula E World Championship driver Stoffel Vandoorne as its ambassador for the new season.
SAUDIA is already the official airline partner of all-electric racing series and is now strengthening its relationship with the sport further.

The former Manchester City Chief Executive Garry Cook has been appointed as the new Executive President and CEO of the Saudi Pro League.
The news comes week after Cristiano Ronaldo secured his move to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.
Cook said upon his announcement on Monday: “I was immediately impressed by the passion and ambition of the Saudi Pro League’s board and leadership.
“The Ministry of Sport is committed to delivering a wider role for sport as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and football, as the most popular game, is central to that mission.

The Mirror has been announced as the 2023 headline sponsor for Cure Leukaemia’s inaugural female-only Copa del Cure Leukaemia football tournament, taking place at St George’s Park, on Friday 31st March 2023.
The charity has successfully run its flagship football tournament for the past five years – raising over £100,000 in the process – and March will see the first female-only edition of the competition.
The event is being held as part of Cure Leukaemia’s Finish-It! campaign which sees the charity calling upon the football community to unite in the fight against blood cancer. The campaign will help launch a new UK-wide paediatric clinical trials programme that will deliver new innovative treatments to improve outcomes for children with blood cancer.
