Sportradar Integrity Services, a unit of sports data and technology business Sportradar, has agreed a two-year partnership with World Aquatics to monitor international water polo matches.

The global supplier of sport integrity solutions will monitor more than 450 matches under the terms of the agreement, including the men’s and women’s Water Polo Tournaments at the World Aquatics Championships, the men’s and women’s U20 Championships, and the men’s and women’s Water Polo World Cups.

The competitions will be covered by Sportradar’s Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), an AI-driven bet monitoring system.

World Aquatics, Executive Director, Brent J. Nowicki, said, “We are firmly dedicated to protecting our competitions from integrity threats, particularly as we move closer to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The depth of knowledge that Sportradar Integrity Services provides through its UFDS platform and expert team puts us in a great position to mitigate any betting-related issues that may arise across our competitions.”

Sportradar’s EVP Integrity Services, Andreas Krannich, added, “In recent years we have seen match fixers infiltrate an ever-increasing range of global sports at various levels of competition, including youth events. Aquatic sports are not immune to such integrity threats, and we are committed to providing the strongest integrity provisions using our technology to protect World Aquatics water polo competitions over the next two years.”


IMG Arena has secured the exclusive worldwide data and streaming rights for the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and been appointed as its official integrity partner.

The multi-year deal will see IMG Arena capture and deliver data from more than 161 NWSL and UKG NWSL Challenge Cup games per season, as well as distribute live streaming for betting.

As the league’s official integrity partner, IMG Arena will also provide NWSL with full monitoring services to safeguard competitions and tournaments.

The Sussex Cricket Foundation has agreed a three-year partnership with Sir Rod Aldridge to become the headline sponsor of the newly formed Sussex Women’s Cricket League.

Earlier this month the Foundation announced that the first ever Sussex Women’s Premier League would be launched for the 2023 season.

The new deal will see the league renamed as the Aldridge@BACA Sussex Women’s Cricket League for at least the next three seasons.

Gary Wallis-Tayler, Community Cricket Director, said, “I am delighted that Sir Rod has agreed to sponsor the inaugural Sussex Women’s Cricket League.

“This is an important step in our mission of transforming Women and Girls’ cricket in Sussex, which is also a key part of our Strategic County Plan.

“It’s an exciting time for Women & Girls’ Cricket and with Sir Rod’s support we will be able to continue driving the game forwards across the county.”
