Dublin-based wealth management firm GillenMarkets has been named as the new title sponsor of this year’s Canary Wharf Squash Classic.
The tournament will take place from 13th-18th March at London’s East Wintergarden. The event will be officially known as the GillenMarkets Canary Wharf Squash Classic.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has lifted the suspension on Yorkshire County Cricket Club hosting international and major cricket matches at Headingley.
The decision follows a “rigorous” review of progress made against several criteria set out in November 2021 to tackle racism at the club.
Lancashire Cricket has appointed Navin Singh, the Commercial Director of the Football Association, as a Non-Executive Board Member.
Singh’s remit on the Lancashire Cricket board will be to use his track record in digital and broadcast media to assist the club’s digital media strategy, including the launch of Lancs TV – the new digital arm of Lancashire Cricket.
Telecommunications and media group BT has teamed up with the Football Associations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as non-profit Cybersmile, to support a new platform to tackle online hate.
The platform comprises three modules focusing on upskilling users and educating them on how to be good digital citizens, and features stars such as England captain Harry Kane and Scotland’s Rachel Corsie.
