On 23 September 2021, the Sport Industry Private Dining Club were joined by British climber Molly Thompson-Smith as she spoke about her background and experiences in climbing, the growth of the sport, and ideas that need to be implemented to ensure that the sport becomes more diverse.

During the event, which included senior figures from organisations such as Barclays, Aston Martin, Coutts, Cinch, ECB, EuropeanTour, and Sportradar were captivated by her story, her poise, and a maturity beyond her young years. To read more about the night, please click here.

Sport Industry Private Dining Club is an invitation-only members club that meets four times a year at some of the best venues in London, providing top level representatives from across the sport industry with the opportunity to network and socialise in an informal and relaxed setting.


Veloce Esports has announced a partnership with leading racing game developer Codemasters to launch a multi-title, global esports racing league – the Versus Ultra Series – with Lando Norris’ Quadrant team revealing itself as the first official entry.

Some of the best-known global esports teams will be taking part, comprising world famous streamers, pro gamers, and more, with squads competing for the inaugural Versus Ultra Cup. The Versus Ultra Series will feature an innovative event format with different stages of the competition taking place across several Codemasters titles.

More information on the event format, team announcements and the Versus Ultra Cup will be revealed in due course, with racing set to get underway in 2022.  


Having joined the Wigan Warriors as its official tyre partner ahead of the 2021 season, Davanti Tyres’ ‘Make It Happen’ campaign provided additional funding to support the life-changing work of the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation.

Davanti Tyres’ considerable contribution seeks to help ease the burden on families in some of the town’s most economically challenged communities. Also, they have committed to supporting the Community Foundation’s Happy Smiles delivery, a new provision across local schools which seeks to address a decline in pupil’s general wellbeing, mental health and physical fitness.

To celebrate the initiative, first team players Liam Farrell and Liam Marshall headed to Platt Bridge Community School to present a number of the PE kits and joined Community Foundation coaches to deliver PE sessions.


Whisper has announced that the multi award-winning director, Mark Lynch, will join the production company as Lead Director, Cricket from October 2021.

Lynch, who has been a key part of three BAFTA winning teams, joins from Sky Sports to work on Whisper’s growing cricket portfolio, which includes coverage of all international cricket in the West Indies, New Zealand and BBC’s flagship test match highlights show. 

Whisper will be host broadcaster for England’s five T20 matches and three test matches in the Caribbean in early 2022, as well as a wide range of high profile matches in New Zealand.
