TNT Sports has reached an agreement with Disney Star, the global rights holder of the Asian Cricket Council, to broadcast Asia Cup 2023 live and exclusively across the UK and Ireland.

The deal will see the one-day international cricket tournament, which runs from 30th August to 17th September, benefit from coverage on the recently rebranded UK subscription sports channel.

The ODI tournament will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka in a fifty-overs format with six qualifying teams divided into two groups of three teams each.

Goodwood has partnered with private aviation company Flexjet for this year’s 25th anniversary edition of Goodwood Revival, taking place from 8th to 10th September.

As per the agreement, Flexjet becomes the official private aviation partner of the event and will be hosting ‘The Flexjet Arrival & Departure Lounge’ for visitors heading to the Sussex Estate via helicopter.

Eli Flint, Flexjet President of Global Helicopter Operations, commented, “We are delighted to be involved with Goodwood Revival this year, and to be opening the doors of The Flexjet Arrival & Departure Lounge for the first time. Watford FC and its Community, Sports & Education Trust has partnered with Her Game Too.

Founded in May 2021, Her Game Too aims to raise awareness and educate on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sport.

In June 2021, Kate Lewers founded Women of Watford FC. The initiative provides access to regular group ticket bookings for away matches, holds focus groups to receive advice on improving the Hornet’s offering for women in the club shop, and liaises with the Trust on hosting a Menopause awareness event for women.

EFL Championship football club Norwich City has renewed its partnership with EnviroFacilities.

Envirofacilities UK Ltd is a facilities management company based in Norwich.

EFL League Two football club Morecambe has partnered with Rightfloor.

The deal sees the Manchester-based commercial flooring firm become the official sleeve sponsor of The Shrimps.

Martin Thomas, Head of Commercial at Morecambe FC, said, “We are delighted that Rightfloor services has agreed to become our shirt sleeve sponsor- as it once again shows that our partners see us as a great outlet to showcase their business.  John and his guests regularly attend the Mazuma Mobile stadium, and it is great to enhance their connection with the club through this partnership.”

W-Sport, a 24/7 channel dedicated to women’s sport, has extended its reach in Europe by launching with Dutch telecoms operator KPN in the Netherlands.

The UK-based W-Sport launched on the Astro platform in Malaysia last month, adding to existing broadcast deals in Belgium, Portugal, Luxembourg and in over 30 territories in Sub-Saharan Africa.
