Two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has announced he will personally sponsor League One football club Morecambe FC during the 2022/23 football season.

According to a statement, ‘the initial deal will see Tyson’s Gypsy King brand featuring on this season’s playing shorts’, however, Fury is expected to extend his partnership with the club at a later date.

Fury, said, “I love the Morecambe area and it is a pleasure to be able to support my local club.”


British performance eyewear brand SunGod has announced American ultra-running legend Courtney Dauwalter as a brand ambassador.

Under terms of the agreement, Dauwalter, who is ranked the world number one by International Trail Running Association (ITRA), will wear SunGod classics while competing.


The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has been named as the official charity of The 2022 Senior Open Presented by Rolex, which takes place at Gleneagles this week.

April Davidson, BHF Scotland’s Area Fundraising Manager, said, “We are thrilled to be working alongside The Senior Open and really looking forward to meeting golf fans at Gleneagles and sharing our work.

“Our lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases is only made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of the public. For more than 60 years, your support has helped the BHF turn research that once seemed like ‘science fiction’ into reality. But there is still so much more to do to power our research and help support the 700,000 people living with heart and circulatory diseases in Scotland.”

Spectators can contribute to the BHF by taking part in the Long Putt Challenge or visiting its exhibition unit in the spectator village, situated to the left of the first hole.


League One football club Ipswich Town has extended its kit sponsorship with Mortgagemove for the upcoming 2022/23 football season.

Under terms of the agreement, the mortgage specialist, which has served as a partner of the club for the past four season, will continue to have its branding on the back of the team’s playing shorts.

Rosie Richardson, Town’s director of sales, said, “We have a long-standing association with Nick Golding and the Mortgagemove team and it’s great that we’re now into our fifth season of sponsorship and a mutually beneficial partnership.

“Mortgagemove’s logo will once again appear on both first-team and replica shorts, home and away”
