West Ham United have announced YIELD App, a FinTech company, as its Official Digital Asset Wealth Management Partner.

The partnership enables YIELD App to communicate with the East London club’s global fanbase and its users will now benefit from the opportunity to experience hospitality at West Ham United home fixtures, through regular competitions throughout the season.

The YIELD App enables its users to invest in digital assets and earn interest at the touch of a button and the partnership comes just seven months after the public launch of the app in February 2021.


ukactive and Sport England have announced a major consultation to uncover existing and new opportunities to get workforces moving more.

The organisations have joined forces to understand what the physical activity sector is doing to support employees to be more active, in addition to exploring how to work more closely to improve the health of working adults.

A report on the research will provide employers, the physical activity sector, and the Government, with clear recommendations for supporting businesses to encourage activity among employees in order to improve workplace wellbeing.


Sale Sharks have announced partnerships with two luxury Manchester-based brands. Marc Darcy has signed as the club’s official suit provider for the next three years. Also, luxury jeweller David. M. Robinson (DMR) will be the official sleeve sponsor of the club’s new shirt for the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.

As part of the multi-year agreement, Sharks first-team players will be kitted out in luxury three-piece Marc Darcy suits ahead of Premiership games as well as for any official club functions. Club commercial staff will also wear the brand’s clothing in hospitality suites at the AJ Bell Stadium on matchdays.

DMR, who are placed in a prominent position on the Sale Sharks shirt, will be featured in additional advertising around the AJ Bell Stadium and at club events.


Whisper, the sports production company, has opened Whisper North, a new entertainment arm, which sits within The Whisper Group. Based in Manchester, the new regional hub is led by Whisper North Managing Director, Tom McLennan, who joins from ITV Entertainment.

In addition to generating entertainment formats, Whisper North will operate as a regional office for Whisper’s sporting production and is well-positioned to bolster Whisper’s strong relations with BBC Sport in Salford and Channel 4 Sport in Leeds.   

Whisper, co-founded by Jake Humphrey, will be the Host Broadcaster for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup, taking place in 2022.


UEFA and The FA have announced that fans can apply for the chance to become one of thousands of volunteers supporting the 2022 UEFA Women’s EURO tournament.

Roles include ‘Spectator Services’ – being at the forefront on an event day, ensuring spectators have the best possible match day experience and ‘Stadium Support’ – where volunteers will help make the tournament a success by assisting delivery and logistics teams.

The tournament takes place from 6 July – 31 July 2022 in 10 stadiums, across nine cities in England, including Brighton & Hove, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Rotherham, Sheffield, Southampton, Trafford and Wigan & Leigh.
