The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and has extended its partnership with UK marketing agency Goodform.
Goodform’s provides the WRC with its customer data platform that provides an understanding of the WRC global fanbase, which has helped deliver highly targeted digital marketing campaigns throughout 2022.
The primary aim of the partnership prior to this extension has been to elevate the number of subscribers to the WRC+ and RX+ streaming services.
Now, Goodfrom will continue to assist the WRC when Rally.TV launches in June. Rally.TV will combine all existing streaming services into one platform, offering behind-the-scenes access, live interviews, replays, and classic rally and race footage for fans.
Philipp Meanner, WRC’s Media Rights Director, said, “With the launch of Rally.TV we will be further enhancing the consumer experience with more rallying and rallycross than ever before. Goodform has been a vital partner to the WRC over the past two seasons and we expect to grow with them further as we look ahead to our exciting Rally.TV launch.”
Formula E has announced diversified chemicals manufacturer Sabic as the title sponsor of the Berlin E-Prix on 22nd and 23rd April.
The sponsorship of rounds 7 and 8 of the 2022/23 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is part of Sabic’s larger and ongoing role as a principal partner to Formula E, the all-electric motor racing series.
First announced as a principal partner in 2022, Sabic will continue to collaborate closely with Formula E to develop ‘cutting-edge solutions and help drive further innovation in sustainable practices across the sport’s ecosystem and operations.’
Matt Scammell, Chief Commercial Officer, Formula E, said, “We are thrilled that SABIC is extending its partnership with Formula E to become title sponsor of the iconic double-header of races in Berlin. The 2023 SABIC Berlin E-Prix will give fans in Europe their first chance to see the new GEN3 race car in competitive action.”
The German branch of international agency network M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has revealed a new management team today alongside a new office concept, called House of M&C Saatchi.
Simona Schapiro, Jannis Klausch and Christian ‘Kidde’ Schuck will become the trio of an entirely new M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment offering which will service clients as a ‘full-service passion marketing agency’ in Germany across various industries with a multi-disciplinary team of around 40 employees.
The team will report directly to the global CEO of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, Steve Martin.
With this line-up, the team is now uniting various communications disciplines under a single roof, aiming to broaden the potential of the business in the German market, while making it ‘leaner and faster in operational terms for the future.’
The new location was inaugurated at an event on 20th April 2023, together with Steve Martin.

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has appointed London-based practice WilkinsonEyre as architect for the redevelopment of the Tavern and Allen stands at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The project is the latest in the programme of facilities upgrades at Lord’s. The Tavern Stand will be stripped back to its underlying steel framework, to enable the stand to be extended and completely rebuilt, while the smaller Allen Stand will be demolished, and a new building constructed in its place.
Robert Ebdon, MCC Estates Director, commented, “After a thorough architects’ tender process, we are delighted to be renewing our successful partnership with the team at WilkinsonEyre for our next ambitious project. The Tavern and Allen stands are much cherished by Members. Redevelopment will greatly improve the accessibility of the stands, increase our seating capacity by approximately 1,000, provide more flexible hospitality with increased catering facilities, and be vastly more sustainable”.
Rugby league club Wigan Warriors has extended its partnership with The Turmeric Co. until 2025.
The Cherry and Whites first teamed up with nutrition shots provider in 2021 and will now continue using the shots that aim to aid ‘high performance’.
The Turmeric Co. was founded by former Premier League footballer and Wales international Thomas ‘Hal’ Robson-Kanu, who discovered the benefits of raw turmeric as a young player when two serious injuries threatened to end his career.
Wigan Warriors Head of Nutrition, Darren Marsh, said, “The turmeric shots have been a great addition to our daily nutritional strategy. The different varieties provide additional support to the athletes’ immune system and also have a positive impact on recovery with their antioxidants properties. The shots are a great product and as a club we would highly recommend them.”
