Shorts: You First, Blast, Talksport, Fuse

You First, the sports and entertainment holding group of agencies, has acquired a majority stake in UK-based Goodform. Established in 2002, Goodform is one of the UK’s longest established independent sports marketing agencies, specialising in data and insight services.

You First CEO Juan Aísa (pictured right, alongside Goodform Managing Director Alison Dalrymple and Ian Grundy, You First’s Senior Director of International) said, “Alison Dalrymple and the team at Goodform have carved out a unique place for themselves in the UK and global sports market.”


Esports tournament organiser BLAST will produce the 2021-22 season of the ePremier League competition, which will feature games on EA Sports’ FIFA 22 title.

All 20 of the league’s teams will be represented at the tournament, with the two best players from each Premier League club then battling it out in the grand final on 26th-27th March.


TalkSPORT has extended a deal with Super League to broadcast radio coverage of the rugby league competition for the next two seasons, until the end of 2023.

Under the renewal, talkSPORT will broadcast live coverage of more than 80 games per season across its main radio station and talkSPORT 2.


Kinaxia Logistics has renewed its sponsorship deal with rugby league club St Helens, which is gunning for a record-breaking fourth consecutive Super League title.

The deal – which designates the Macclesfield-based company as a platinum partner, with its logo to feature on St Helens’ home and away shirts – will cover the 2022 campaign, which gets underway this weekend.


Extreme E has published its first sustainability report, which includes its carbon footprint for the inaugural season of the electric racing championship.

The report, supported by Extreme E’s innovation partner, EY, details the series’ journey to becoming carbon net zero by the end of its first season through various measures, as well as offsetting in full any additional areas.


Fuse, part of Omnicom Media Group, has promoted Sarah Kendall to the role of UK Managing Director following the recent departure of Stephen Hutchison.

Kendall, who has 20 years of experience in sports sponsorship, has spent the past seven years at the marketing and commercial services agency in different leadership roles. She will report into Fuse’s CEO, UK and EMEA, Louise Johnson.


World Sailing has appointed Scott Dougal as its new Director of Communications and Digital.Dougal, who previously worked in communications at British Cycling, was a sports journalist at the Press Association, the UK’s national news agency, earlier in his career.
