SIG Partners With Beyond The Games 2022

Sport Industry Group has been named as a strategic partner to this year’s Beyond the Games.

The 2022 edition of the event, organised by global foundation Beyond Sport, will take place 26th July at Villa Park, the home of Premier League football club Aston Villa, and is being held in partnership with Sport England and UK Sport.

With nations set to gather for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games later that week, Beyond Sport is convening 300 leaders from the domestic and international sport sector to explore, debate and share insights on sport’s role in addressing the UK’s most pressing social and sectoral issues.

The event will share best practice, collaborate on challenges, and leverage the power of the Games and sport to accelerate movement towards a society that works for all. .

Brands, teams and leagues, NGOs, rights holders, local authorities, international federations, national governing bodies and academia will all be in attendance to focus on tackling inequality, health and wellbeing, and environmental sustainability.
