Silverstone has announced a line-up of UK music icons to headline the 2025 Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
Sam Fender, RAYE, Fatboy Slim, and Becky Hill have been confirmed to perform at the event, which takes place from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th July 2025.
The Silverstone event, known as the Home of British Motorsport, attracted record crowds last summer and aims to enhance its entertainment offering in 2025.
The four-day music line-up is designed to cement the British Grand Prix as a key event on both the sporting and music calendars.
Becky Hill, singer-songwriter, said, “I can’t wait to be back at Silverstone to headline the final night at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. It’s going to be a huge weekend of high-energy action on the track and on the stage!”
Nick Read, Chief Commercial Officer, Silverstone, said, “Over the past few years we have established Silverstone as a world-class venue that attracts the biggest and best artists to deliver unforgettable experiences, and it’s an honour to continue that as we announce Sam Fender, RAYE, Fatboy Slim, and Becky Hill as our stellar all-British headliners for the 2025 Formula 1 British Grand Prix.”
Fans attending the 2025 British Grand Prix will enjoy four evenings of live music at no extra cost, building on the success of the 2024 event.
Christopher Vivell has been appointed as the permanent recruitment director at Manchester United.
The Manchester Evening News reported that Vivell, who had been covering the summer and winter transfer windows, is set to remain at the club as they continue to restructure their football operations under the guidance of Ineos.
This decision comes amidst a broader review of Manchester United’s football department, initiated following the departure of Dan Ashworth and the subsequent £4.1m cost associated with his brief five-month tenure.
The review, led by Ineos, is also considering potential redundancies within the club, with expectations of over 100 staff being laid off as part of cost-cutting measures.
