Sky Sports has announced its broadcast plans for the 2025/26 Premier League season, which will see the broadcaster show more live matches than ever before.

As part of its new rights partnership with the Premier League, Sky Sports will increase its exclusively live coverage from 128 to at least 215 games per season. The deal includes more than 140 weekend matches, evening fixtures on Fridays and Mondays, and full coverage of three midweek match rounds.

The broadcaster is launching new programming to support the expanded schedule. On selected weekends, a new show called Multiview will provide a live simultaneous broadcast of multiple 14:00 Sunday matches. This will be followed by a new analysis programme, Extra Time, with Jamie Carragher. The Sunday Supplement show will also return.

Mark Chapman will join the roster of Premier League presenters, which includes David Jones and Kelly Cates. The punditry team continues to feature Gary Neville, Roy Keane, and Micah Richards. Digitally, fans will have access to vertical highlights in the Sky Sports app for the first time, with all match highlights available on Sky’s platforms before any other broadcaster.

Gary Hughes, Director of Football, Sky, said, “Super Sunday is becoming supersized.”
