Sky Sports will showcase women’s golf for at least another two years after confirming a new deal with the Ladies Professional Golf Association that will include exclusively live coverage of three women’s Majors played in the United States, plus at least four LPGA Tour events each summer.
The new deal adds to Sky’s live golf coverage that includes three of the four Majors, PGA European Tour, US PGA Tour, World Golf Championship events and this September’s Ryder Cup.
British golfer and Solheim Cup star Charley Hull said of the news: ‘It’s great news that Sky Sports is showing more women’s golf. I’m really looking forward to playing in more LPGA events and Majors too, so it’s good to know that my friends and family at home can tune in and follow my progress.’
News and updates on other LPGA events from the United States and around the world will also be shown on Sky Sports News.

I have consistently heard from fans in the U.K. about their desire to see more LPGA coverage on television and this new deal with Sky Sports helps to deliver that.’
The agreement follows other recent announcements made by Sky Sports, including a new three-year deal for the IPL from 2015 following deals British & Irish Lions, PGA Tour golf and Super League.
